Organic producers working using a community-shared agriculture model

Reportage on organic producers working using a community-shared agriculture model in Haute-Savoie, France. Rémi has been an organic fruit and vegetable grower since 2011 and he creates a community-supported agriculture model. He grows 35 types of vegetables and only works with a local distribution network: selling directly to consumers. As well as working with organic agriculture, he is setting up a permaculture system : a set of practices aimed at creating low-energy consumption agriculture, by leaving as much space as possible for “wild” nature. Jean-Philippe has been an organic cattle and pig breeder since 2006, using a community-shared agriculture model. He sells his meat and some of the milk he produces through this system. The consumers who are part of the community-shared agriculture system organize the distribution.
